THING 10
While I went over and worked in the Zoho Writer page I found it to be fun and it had some more features that made it easier to use as well. However, I already have a google email and documents website so I like how google has everything right there for you to use as well. It makes it self sufficient to use rather than having to go somewhere else outside the zoho writer page and then add it to the document.

THING 9
I believe that the more interactive a classroom can be the more kids will learn, but when you have at the most 20 something kids in your classroom you can't really interact with all the kids one by one. So that's why I believe that if the school system would incorporate Ipad's into their classrooms this will keep the kids interactive while learning and growing in their reading skills. Also, the Ipad could be used in any subject from helping with math problems, exploring more about science, or art and music whatever it is you can use the Ipad to help the students learn while still helping them learn interactively while your not around.
THING 8
After looking at the different Wiki's online I have really liked the Bull Run Library wiki page and how it was setup. They included some changes in the library prices, or fines for late books and they also have any updates going on in their city or around them. The Bull Run Library also adds pictures and keeps it organized in different ways that can make it easier for people visiting the website. However, the other one's are just general Wiki pages that doesn't grab the attention of the people visiting the website, so I feel that they could use what the Bull Run Library wiki group used to add more features that could help their website seem more alive rather than being so dull.

When I explored the different Internet Image generator programs, I found that some would be useful and kid friendly where others didn't have these advantages. Therefore, I decided that glogster and flipsnack would be the most useful for projects/assignments in the classroom and outside that are kid friendly, making this easier for kids to put there projects together, and it's Eco-friendly since it's being used on the Internet rather than using paper. So Glogster would be an in classroom assignment, where each student creates their own montage of what describes themselves, for example their favorite color, number, clothes, brands, animal, or whatever describes that student. The project must contain at least if not more than 1 picture of your favorite animal, 20 actual pictures of you (the student) and other things, and 10 words or letters. Another one that I would use is flipsnack, and each student must make a book, of their choice, over one of the lessons we are going over in science, math, history, reading, or art. They would also have to describe in detail what there describing and make sure the person reading it can understand how it works and what the picture is meaning. For example, you could do a book over how to divide or multiply fractions.

When I created my RSS account I was a little confused at first, but when I went to RSS tutorials everything made more since to me. Thank goodness!! However, after I started subscribing to some newsfeed and other peoples blogs it was really cool to be able to see what people updated on their blogs for that day or what is going on in the NBA. I feel like for my personal life it would be easier to look up what is going on in the different sports, economy, or world that week or day, because rather buying a newspaper, magazine, or getting up early to watch the news I could just look up all the information I find interesting all on my bloglines account. Therefore, I found it very useful for myself and even business people who already are always using technology in their jobs, so this is a very useful website that I would find interesting to use for my students. Because through this I could have them research certain websites that I know are kid friendly and from that site they have to do a project or report based on the information given on the website. There are plenty other ways to use it for students in the school level and this is just one of them.

THING 5!
So I went to the website www.bighugelabs.com and I found it really interesting how you could make a mosaic's and other things as well that would be useful. I could see myself using this for pictures from each year of my students, and teams I would have. Here is my Mosaic that I made from this summer :)
THING 4!
On my Flickr account I created I like how you can share your pictures online with others, or you can make it private to only allow certain people to see them. However, today with technology growing more and more every day makes some of these websites like Flickr a website that's not worth building an account for. For example, now on Facebook you can download any picture that you have access to and download it to your computer, smart phone, etc.. and then you can do whatever with it. Also, if you don't pay for a Flickr Pro account then you have a limited amount of pictures or videos that you can upload to the website, but for Facebook you don't pay anything! Flickr has some cool options and features to it, but I don't see me using it in the future, for I could use another website, or even build my own where parents and children in my class can access for pictures and much more.

Things 2
This is my second time to create a blog from summer trip and I love doing this because you can basically tell whatever you want to about whats going on in your life or what all your doing on a trip or anything like that. I know this last summer when I was coaching basketball camps in France and Spain, I posted everything that I was learning (language, and culture) and from the coaching perspective as well. I will add a link to my post from this summer at the end of this post that you can go and look at it if you want. But I really enjoy learning how to post, and I can't wait to learn even more at the end of this semester.

Thing 1
While I watched the 7 & 1/2 habits of learning, I could easily tell which habits I liked and which ones I didn't. Habit #1 was the one I definitely didn't like, for when I saw that this goal was saying to begin with an end in mind about the goals you set I knew that this is something I don't like to even think about. Because I have had the opportunity to set goals for myself since I was in 6th grade from the academic level to my desire to play basketball all year around in school and then continue to summer. So when I make a goal I make it a logistic goal that I know can be attainable within the time period I give myself, for it can be hard for me to have to go back and change a goal I already set just because I didn't reach it because I take it as failure and this can make me get a negative mind set about setting goals. However, when I saw Habit #3 I loved this habit about viewing problems as challenges. I know that everyday I wake up there is going to be some problem that I have to overcome, so when this problem or even negative thing approaches me I always look at it as a challenge rather than a problem. Because I may have a problem with my health, basketball, academically, or even life wise (family, friends, etc..), but I know that God can help me through these challenges I go through on a day-to-day basis as long as I lean on him for help.
